About This Fund
Support the Future of Nursing
Our RN to BSN and MSN programs are driven by student passion and the urgent need for highly skilled nurses across rural and regional healthcare systems. Recognized for their quality and innovative delivery, these programs are making a meaningful impact!
With your support, we are building the future of nursing at SMSU through the development of a regional simulation and skills laboratory. This state-of-the-art learning environment will allow students to practice critical clinical skills, respond to real-world patient scenarios, and build confidence in a safe, high-fidelity setting before entering clinical practice.
We’re inviting you to take part in the $12 Nurse Shift Challenge—give $12, one dollar for every hour of a nurse’s shift, to support the next generation of SMSU nurses. Your gift will help students across both programs, from those advancing their careers to those just getting started.
Make your gift today:
$12 – Honor your 12-hour shift: [Give $12]
$24 – Support care that happens 24/7: [Give $24]
$50+ – Invest in the future of nursing at SMSU: [Give More]
Our goal is to reach 100 first-time nursing alumni donors on M4L Day. Please be one of the 100
Your gift directly supports:
Advanced simulation and skills lab equipment
Student scholarships and workforce pipeline development
Innovative virtual and hands-on learning tools
Faculty and clinical training resources
Together, we can expand access to nursing education, strengthen rural healthcare systems, and prepare practice-ready nurses who will serve our communities.
Join us in continuing to shape the future of nursing!
