About M4L Day
Join the Mustang Family on April 16, 2026 for our annual M4L (Mustangs 4 Life) Day of Giving! This is a 24-hour online fundraising event designed to unite alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty and staff to support developments and invest in current and future students. You can make an impact by making a gift to any area of SMSU and by helping us spread the word about M4L Day!
Early giving is officially open, so you can make your gift today and help us build momentum leading into April 16. All early gifts will be included in our M4L Day totals.
And... Join us for the M4L Day Celebration!
If you’re near Marshall, we invite you to join us in person for our M4L Day Celebration at Noon in the Student Center. Participants will take part in a Rock, Paper, Scissors competition, and the winner of the competition will have the opportunity to direct additional M4L funding toward the SMSU fund of their choice. All SMSU students, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and community members are encouraged to attend. Be there by Noon!!
During the celebration we’ll share live updates on our M4L Day progress, celebrate the impact of our Mustang community, and build momentum for the rest of the day of giving. Attendees can also enjoy hors d’oeuvres while connecting with fellow Mustangs and supporters.
Following the celebration, guests are invited to stick around for "Stanger Than Fiction: a Fanfiction Celebration Reading of Stanger," celebrating creative writing and storytelling about our favorite mustang Stanger from members of the SMSU community.
